Event Design & Coordination
I was asked to “boss people around and make the day work” for a wedding in August 2011. As a Type A, naturally hyper-organized and detail oriented person — this was the perfect project for me. Since, I have coordinated nearly a dozen weddings, providing services to brides in:
Planning
Decor design, acquisition, and creation
Program design and creation
Seating arrangements
Design of the flow and transitions of the day-of
Rehearsal — planning, coordination, and running the rehearsal by direction wedding party & those involved in ceremony
Set up -Set up decor, flowers, signage, etc. per the specifications of bridal party
Day of - serve as point person for the bridal party, direct bridal party & supports, manage transitions between various portions of the day, ensure smooth evening through coordination of vendors and bridal party

Emily wonderfully orchestrated our entire wedding! We wanted to be hands-on for the planning, but she perfectly filled in the gaps of organization that we just didn't have time for!
